SR Learning Specialist & Facilitator

The Senior Learning Specialist will be a cornerstone of support for the Chief Learning Officer, taking on a vital role in shaping the future of the organization’s learning landscape. This position goes beyond just support—it involves a deep dive into understanding the company’s evolving learning needs and strategically addressing them. The role is like being an architect of knowledge, crafting a tailored learning ecosystem that blends innovation with practicality.

At the heart of the job is the need to design and develop robust, all-encompassing curricula that serve not only immediate learning objectives but also the broader goals of the organization. This might mean creating immersive e-learning modules that draw the learner in like a good story or developing hands-on workshops that leave participants feeling empowered and equipped with new skills. The training programs crafted by the Senior Learning Specialist will align tightly with strategic objectives, ensuring every initiative serves a purpose.

In this dynamic role, instructional design and adult learning principles are the foundation, while modern technologies act as the building blocks. The Specialist must have a firm grasp on how to create learning experiences that are not only engaging but also tailored to diverse learners. Whether it's interactive job aids or innovative virtual training sessions, the aim is to create a lasting impact.

Collaboration will be key. Working closely with stakeholders, the Senior Learning Specialist will serve as a detective of sorts, identifying performance gaps like hidden clues and finding ways to leverage technology for seamless training delivery. This isn’t just about solving problems, though—it’s about envisioning solutions that evolve as the organization grows.

This role involves an analytical aspect—measuring the success of these learning initiatives through data analysis and performance metrics. The Senior Learning Specialist will constantly evaluate and refine the programs, like a sculptor chiseling away at stone until the final piece is a work of art, ensuring the learning experience remains relevant and impactful over time.
